Open Water Certifications and Referrals, Scuba Refreshers, Continuing Education! Let us take care of your training needs.

Dive Training

Have you always wanted to get certified or to finish your scuba training in the islands? We are Culebra’s only PADI 5-star Dive Center and our instructors also hold professional ratings with DAN, SDI, and SSI.

Why train with us? The Culebra Divers difference:

  • Given our small size, your class will most likely be private, moving at your pace, giving you the full attention of your instructor
  • We go beyond the minimums, our philosophy being the best way to become a better diver is to spend more time in and under the water.
    • For Open water we give you 4 days of diving (versus the minimum 3)
    • For Advanced Open Water we can typically sign off on 6 dives during your 2 days of training (versus the minimum 5).

You’ll complete your studies online prior to arrival and we’ll take care of all your dives. For those looking to complete the last portion of their certification, we’ll ask you to send your referral paperwork in advance so we can assist you in getting those final dives scheduled!

Culebra Divers also provides certified divers with a “Scuba Tune-up” to get you back in the swing of things if you’ve been out of the water for a while. Anyone not diving for 2 or more years is strongly recommended to take the time to refresh your skills. Don’t let all your training slip away!
